The house number may be 1945, but the vibe of this beachfront stunner is certainly of the 1970s. Located in Atlantic Beach in North Florida on the outskirts of Jacksonville, this triangular house benefits from a great location, plenty of space and also unusually interesting design.
What the agent says: "Architecture on the beach! Voted one of 100 Best Buildings by AIA Florida, this one of a kind residence was designed by renowned architect and author William Morgan, FAIA for his own family. You will love the North Atlantic Beach location, where neighbors can be seen running, riding bikes and walking dogs on the beach and along the charming streets of this beach-front community. This one-owner home has three bedrooms, 3 baths and 1 half bath. All bedrooms are en-suite."
What we love:
The unusual triangular shape of the house creates a real presence and directs attention to the beautiful sea views outside. We also like the clean sleek look and timeless elegance of the interior spaces. It's difficult to believe this house was built in the decade taste forgot.
What we would do:
The kitchen, bathrooms and floor covering could do with some updating, otherwise good to go!
The house at 1945 Beach Avenue, Atlantic Beach is marketed by Martie Lieberman, Premier Sotheby's International Realty, Sarasota Florida. Prices and details correct as at 18 July 2017.
