Magical Mirrors by Bower Studios
Fairest of Them All
During our recent visit to the ICFF trade fair in New York we were drawn irresistibly to the eye-catching display of mirrors at the Bower Studios stand (and that's not just because we like the image reflected in the mirrors).
Based in Brooklyn, New York, Bower Studios is a multi-disciplinary design collective with a surprisingly refreshing collection of furniture, lighting and accessories, especially mirrors. By using clever shapes and even cleverer use of colours (including antique tints) some of the designs create intriguing 3D effects even though the mirrors are all flat. Decorative, functional and fun, these are perfect for narcissists in need of an excuse to linger in front of mirrors.

Product Inspiration
Add a dash of fun and quirkiness by playing with shapes and colours. Try the ABC bookcase from Saporiti, the Softer Than Steel bench from Desalto and the Quetzal armchair from Missana.
Intrigue and delight with lights that are not what they seem, such as the Lampscapes suspension light from Frederik Roije, the Moto wall light from Moustache and the Concrete floor lamp from Lyon Beton.
We love to use playful, slightly surreal accessories to add a bit of fun. The Hang On wall hanger from Normann Copenhagen resembles jumbled up coat hangers, whilst the Spoiled Copper wallpaper from NLXL looks exactly that. For sheer indulgence what about the solid brass There (Push Pin) candle holder from Ghidini 1961?
