Designed by Jean-Baptiste Fastrez for Moustache, the Moto Wall Light is stunning wall light inspired by motorcycle helmets. The lamp shade is in the shape of a visor, made of one-way mirror with the same iridescent finish usually applied to helmet visors and ski masks. When switched off, the lamp shade becomes semi-opaque and changes colour with different viewing angles, giving the Moto light a mysterious personality.
The Moto Wall Light is available in 2 versions: without plug or with plug. Each one of these 2 versions is available in 4 different colours: Blue, Purple, Orange and Grey.
Born in 1984, Jean-Baptiste Fastrez lives and works in Paris. He won the 2011 Grand Prix du Jury of Design Parade 6 in Villa Noailles (Hyères, France). Since 2011, he has established his own design studio in Paris, and now counts several business partners around the world: from Danish textil manufacturer Kvadrat, the Galerie Lafayettes in Paris , Sèvres / Cité de la céramique, the glass reaserch center Cirva in Marseille, the french brand Moustache and the London and Paris based design gallery Galerie Kreo.
Moustache is a French design brand that brings together like-minded designers such as Francois Azambourg, Big Game and Matali Crasset to create furniture, lighting and interior accessories that are quirky and delightful in equal measures.
