Miisty-Eyed in Milan

Miist is a new furniture brand founded by designer Alex Baser, who creates the designs in Milan with manufacturing in Turkey.  The collection features sleek, minimalist lines with a dash of design flair, imbuing the products with a sense of refinement and warmth.  Some of the products, such as the Naive console and the Otto table, have a strong sculptural presence and would no doubt light up the rooms they are placed in.  The generous use of luxurious materials such as marble and brass adds further to their appeal.  Aficionados of minimalist designs will no doubt be misty-eyed with desire.
