Ukrainian designer Kateryna Sokolova and manufacturing expert Arkady Vartanov teamed up in 2017 to create Noom, a design brand which combines traditional and modern metalwork techniques to create highly sculptural interior objects.
Their Suprematic collection, inspired by the geometric paintings of pioneering Suprematist artist Kazimir Malevich, combines simple forms such as circles, lines and tubes to create striking suspension lights and vases which would not look out of place in a modern art museum. We particularly like the limited edition vases, featuring panels which have been hand-hammered or have special oxidised finishes, adding an element of texture to the bold compositions. This beautiful collection is not just a showcase of the team's artistic flair but also a testament to the depth of their craftsmanship and expertise.
Add a distinctive sculptural touch with accessories such as the Axonometry Parallelepiped Set from Ghidini 1961, the Half Moon wall shelf from Formae and the Monuments magazine holder from Menu.
