Italian production house Car-Met has turned to a new generation of designers to create an enchanting collection of furniture that plays on shapes, colours and versatility.
Designers Luca Binaglia, Valerio Ciampicacigli, Lucio Curcio and Anna Mercurio explored the creative possibilities of geometric shapes and colours in a series of products and demonstrated their versatility in four "estensioni" settings. Highlights of the collection include the Camilla floor light and Ettore side table, both of which feature adjustable heights as well as the Engioli trolley shelf and the Hip Hop set of side tables. The Ambrogio side table cum drawer unit is clever and stylish, as is the Loop mirror-hoop. A fresh and delightful addition to any home or office.
Simple geometric shapes make for great lighting, such as the Agata Circle suspension light from Incipit, the Skylight Tower table light from Frederik Roije and the Air table light from LZF.
We love the sleek shape and versatility of the Axonometry desk set from Ghidini 1961 and the Dama stackable container from Incipit. For a beautiful play on geometric shapes try the Slide serving tray from Finell.
