Lansdowne Court Penthouse: GBP 8,500,000
Chill in Notting Hill
This spectacular penthouse was designed by architects Richard Hywel Evans, who described it as the coolest penthouse in Notting Hill. We can't help but to agree. How else can you describe a penthouse with curvy glass walls which wrap all the way around the apartment, especially when it comes with a jaw-dropping glass bridge which leads to a roof terrace on top of the building next door? Yup, we thought you might find it cool too.
What the agent says: "A truly spectacular penthouse apartment spanning the tops of two buildings with sensational views, private lift and large roof terrace. This truly spectacular penthouse apartment spans the tops of the two buildings forming Lansdowne Court, with breath-taking design taking full advantage of the sensational views offered by its elevated position with most external walls constructed almost entirely of glass."
What we love:
Great location, super slick space and yes, the curvy glass walls and fabulous roof garden. We can only imagine the sort of parties you can have here.
What we would do:
Plaster over the glass walls and paint everything magnolia. Only kidding (it is April Fool's Day afterall). We would take out all the furniture and install a minimal-sculptural design scheme.
The Lansdowne Court penthouse is being marketed by Winkworth. Prices and details correct as at 1 April 2016.
