Option Chair by Frederik Roije
Multiple Choice
Frederik Roije, our favourite Dutch designer and the maestro of minimalism, has designed a clever and sophisticated new chair for Dutch design house Puik.
The Option chair is a study in purity and geometric forms. The seat and back pads are upholstered in felt and come in round or square shapes, connected by a sleek metal frame. Interesting design variations can be created by mixing the two shapes in different combinations, especially if different colour fabrics are used. The end result is a chair which looks restrained and expressive at the same time, perfect for those who want to have multiple options.

Product Inspiration
For tables with simple geometric shapes and strong sculptural presence to go with the Option chair, try the Florence dining table from New Works, the Cristall coffee table from Coedition and the Clay table from Desalto.
Lighting with bold sculptural shapes, such as the Swirl suspension light from LZF, the Dancing pendant light from Menu and the Kizu table light from New Works, are great for creating interest and drama.
We love the geometric shapes of the Joe & Ema vase from Ghidini 1961, the Cyclope mirror from Moustache and the Slide serving tray from Finell.
