Natural by Design
Autumn might be closing but it's never too late to start your little patch of indoor nature, especially with the help of these clever products spotted at Maison & Objet in Paris.
Do Master Alicja Patanowska graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2014 and has since gone from strength to strength with Plantation, a series of 4 porcelain collars which can be fitted onto glasses or jars to grow ornamental plants using hydroponic principles. A great way to observe the growing process of the plants and to reuse old glasses at the same time.
Amsterdam-based Pikaplant is the creator of the Pikaplant Jar, a hermetically sealed jar with a plant inside which survives on the continuously recycled air and moisture, imitating natural high humidity biotopes. Ideal for bringing some greenery indoors, even for forgetful owners.

LZF lights are made of natural wood veneers, which look great with wood furniture and indoor plants. Check out the Poppy suspension light and the Mini Mikado floor light. The Cape suspension light from Moustache is inspired by flowers and look great in multiple colours.
We love the nature-inspired ceramics of Sena Gu, another past Do Master; the Cauliflower container is typical of her quirky style. We also like the Knotted Cherry container from Ghidini 1961 for its slick glossy look and the contemporary feel of the Wood'd wood inlay iPhone cases.
