Quirky Concepts

Concept Furniture by One Plus Eleven

The aim behind One Plus Eleven is to build "conceptual furniture" that inspires and provokes by blurring the boundary behind art and design.  The name of the brand alludes to their artistic aspirations (production is limited to one prototype plus eleven units), much like limited edition prints.  This translates into a collection of cabinets with slanting shelves, tables with secret compartments and chairs that may not have been built with comfort as a priority.  Conceptual?  Perhaps; head-scratching inducing?  Most definitely.

Quirky Style

Product Inspiration

Create your own "conceptual" space with quirky furniture such as the Volley tennis ball lounge chair from Lento, the Robox bookshelf from Casamania and the Bold bench from Moustache.

These quirky lights are real conversation starters!  The Lampscapes suspension light from Frederik Roije resembles merged lampshades, the Bullet lamp from Ghidini 1961 looks like a weapon of mass destruction and the Flash lamp from Qeeboo looks suitably surreal, especially on the lawn in the garden.

Quirky accessories are great for cheering up any interior space.  Try the Hang On wall hanger from Normann Copenhagen, the Wunderkammer Bone from Diesel Living and the Crawl silicone container from Finell.
