Built in Brooklyn by Uhuru
Hipster Style
Multidisciplinary design collective Uhuru has long been a scion of the Brooklyn design scene. Their furniture collections and interior design schemes combine a raw industrial design aesthetic with a sense of refined elegance.
The Alca collection of cast iron and charred-edge walnut tables, designed in collaboration with Constance Guisset, is an elegantly whimsical mashup of Brooklyn and Parisian styles. We also like the minimalist and sculptural Tack collection of occasional tables and the Fold collection of metal tables, inspired by metal packaging straps. Stylish, full of personality and not a man-bun in sight.

Product Inspiration
Furniture with metal and timber are great for creating an industrial style design scheme. Try the Utility chair from Stellar Works, the Keel coffee table from New Works and the T Square wall shelf from Coedition.
Create a cool industrial look with lamps such as the Standard pendant light from Menu, the Mr Ed table lamp from Functionals and the Flamingo reading light from Ghidini 1961.
The concrete accessories from Lyon Beton, such as the Pipeline stem vase, look great in industrial style spaces, as would the Machine collection coffee cups set from Diesel Living and the Canasta bowl from Incipit.
