Daphne Laurens is a young Dutch designer best known for designing the Sofalamp and Fruitlamp for Cappellini. Her approach in merging fine and applied arts in her designs can be seen in the Cirkel wall light, shown at the Salone Satellite of the Salone del Mobile furniture fair in Milan. An exercise in circles and balance, the metal wall light makes a distinctively sculptural presence, even when switched off.

The Clay table from Desalto and the Chariot trolley from Casamania are both perfect matches for the round, sculptural shape of Daphna Laurens' Cirkel wall light.
The Dandelion light from LZF is also made up of multiple circles, albeit inspired by the natural shape of the dandelion flower. For something more flamboyant try the Lucky Eye OLED wall light / mirror from Blackbody.
We love the Spin silicone container from Finell and the Cyclope mirror from Moustache, as they both make a strong sculptural presence.
