Patricia Urqiola is a an acknowledged master in crafting stylish contemporary interiors and her latest project, at the Il Sereno Hotel on Lake Como in Italy, is no exception.

Located on an idyllic lake-shore spot not far from the village of Torno, the Il Sereno is a 30 room all-suite hotel built with discrete luxury and design flair in mind.  Urquiola applied her trademark style in all the public spaces and rooms, bringing together different materials, textures and shapes with a sophisticated colour scheme inspired by the surrounding nature and with a spirit of elegant modernity.  The furniture selection combines timeless elegance with contemporary shapes and features many pieces of her own design, especially from Moroso.  This will no doubt become the hottest destination for the design cognoscenti and style followers alike.
