Frama is one of a new wave of Scandinavian brands which eschews ever more exuberant and indistinguishable designs in a return to fundamental values of utility and timelessness.
The Copenhagen-based design collective has a broad range of products ranging from furniture and lighting to kitchen cabinets and health & beauty. What unites them is a focus on natural materials, simple geometry and timelessness; a return to basics with simple, honest design. Product highlights include the generously proportioned Adam stool (particularly in leather and raw steel), the back-to-basics Sutoa chest of drawers and the 90 Degrees wall light, with its masculine utilitarian good looks. These are great investment pieces because timeless style never goes out of fashion.
