Outside In House by Pantone Greenery, London: GBP 200 Per Night
Green Living
As part of its ongoing charm offensive to bolster its creative credentials, Airbnb has teamed up with Pantone to create a whimsical house based on Pantone's colour of the year, a lush shade of yellow-green known as Greenery (Pantone 15-0343).
The "Outside In" house is strategically located at 4 Dingley Place, halfway betwen the design community of Clerkenwell and the hipsters of Hoxton. Knock on the bright green front door (Pantone-branded, of course) and a "groundskeeper" will welcome you inside the 2,000 square feet loft and show you how to "truly live the colour". This involves relaxing in the indoor greenhouse, tucking your children into their beds under the tented nook, sipping the locally sourced herbal teas and "breathe deeply and slowly to take in maximum oxygen from the plants".
What the host says: "Dinner is not provided, but guests are welcome to take cuttings from the herb garden and pick leaves from around the house for an after-dinner cup of tea. Take showers in the Rainforest room, and bathe in the downstairs tropical lagoon with a bath bomb - be sure to step on the living moss bath mat when you do."
What we love:
The otherworldly experience of living in, literally, an urban jungle. A great stop for those seeking inspirations for revival and renewal.
What we would do:
Eschew the bed and offer luxury sleeping bags instead for the full outside-in experience.
The Outside In House is hosted by Pantone Greenery on Airbnb and is available from 27-30 January 2017 only. Prices and details correct as at 25 January 2017. All proceeds go to the American Institute of Graphic Arts.

Product Inspiration
Go green with wood, natural fabrics and organic shapes. Team together the Raphia rocking chair from Casamania with the Zumitz low table from Alki and the Treasure Table from Frederik Roije.
The natural wood veneers of the LZF lights, such as the Agatha suspension light, are perfect for creating a natural vibe. For a more whimsical touch try the Vapeur suspension light from Moustache. Or what about the Bonsai OLED table light from Blackbody for a more high-tech interpretation of nature?
We love the nature-inspired ceramics of Sena Gu, such as the adorable Bubble Tree plate, Rose plate and Tree vase.
