The Plane desk is a stylish and compact desk designed by Felix Stark for Mueller (or Müller) Möbelwerkstätten. Ideal for small spaces, the Plane desk provides ample writing and storage space combined with exceptional cable management. It works especially well in residential spaces but also in small offices and other commercial spaces.
The Plane desk comes with an integrated shelf with two drawers and a middle compartment which is closed by panel fixed with magnets. This compartment is perfect for housing power sockets, plugs and cables. In addition, there are cable outlets on the top shelf as well as the rear of the desk, which allows cables to be routed down along the vertical support strip at the back of the desk.
After completing his apprenticeship as a cabinetmaker and his studies in industrial design in Cologne in 2002, German designer Felix Stark (Bonn, 1976) opened his own industrial design studio in 2004. He has received numerous awards, such as the "Red Dot Award" and the Federal Prize "Die Gute Form". Blending style with functionality, Stark has collaborated with many well established furniture brands, including Mueller for which he created several products such as the the Nook and the Plane beds.
