The Liuku - Glass Shade is a sleek and elegant suspension light designed by Maija Puoskari for Mater. The organic shape of the light is inspired by nature, complemented by the warmth of the natural linden wood, which is FSC certified from sustainable European forests and the delicate mouth-blown tinted glass. The Liuku can be used as a single pendant light or to create rows or clusters. It works well in both residential and public spaces from living rooms and bedrooms to bars, restaurants and reception areas.

The Liuku is available in two shapes (ball or drop) and two finishes (natural matt or black) and three glass shades colours. Please make your selections amongst the options above.

Designer
Maija Puoskari is a Finnish designer graduated from the Aalto University of Helsinki in 2009. With a strong experience as a florist, her background often inspires her design: nature, harmony and simple forms are constantly in her projects. Maija collaborates with major Finnish and international design companies; she has been awarded with several prizes and her work has been shown in many national and international collections, exhibitions and fairs.
