Cosmo is an eye-catching and versatile sofa designed by LaSelva for Missana. Cosmo brings back the traditional shape of a sofa, but at the same time offers a useful small table on one of its arms. Cosmo is a stylish and highly functional sofa, perfect for contemporary design schemes in both commercial and domestic settings.
The frame, sides and the back of the Cosmo Sofa are in pine and beech wood. The whole sofa is covered with upholstered cushions in different but co-ordinating fabrics with contrasting textures. LaSelva is a design studio which operates both in Spain and in Mexico, founded by Manuel Bañó and David Galvañ. The creative duo has been awarded with the Cevisama Indi (Spain 2011 and 2013), the StarckPack Awards (London 2012), the Design a cool cup by BoConcept (Denmark 2012) and Valencia Produce (Spain 2014). Their designs have been exhibited in different fair such as Nude Feria Hábitat Valencia (Spain 2012 and 2014), Fiera Milano Rho (Italy 2014), Ventura Lambrate (Italy 2014), Abierto Mexicano de Diseño (México 2014) and Designboom Mart (Stockholm 2015).
