The Comfy Sofa is a playful and comfortable sofa designed by Marcantonio for Seletti. The design of the sofa is inspired by the designer's youth, when he used to construct play houses using sofa cushions and seating pads. These fond memories have been translated into a generously proportioned sofa with a profusion of cushions designed to embrace the sitter in extravagant comfort.

The sofa is hand-crafted in Italy using high quality fabrics with an extraordinary level of attention to detail. Each cushion is made in a different fabric with its edge finished in a different way, all in a carefully chosen palette of turquoise, white or grey. The end result is a joyfully welcoming sofa which looks messy and coordinated at the same.

Collection
The Comfy Sofa is part of a collection which also includes the Comfy Armchair. The sofa is suitable for private and public spaces and works especially well as a statement piece in loft-style living spaces and office break-out areas.  

Designer
Italian designer Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba attended the Art Institute and the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan and soon began to create unique pieces of design in parallel with artworks. The connection between Man and Nature is Marcantonio's favourite theme: his main inspiration comes from nature and its life principles. His aim is to turn art into design - and vice versa.

Seletti has evolved a long way from its roots as a family business founded in 1964 importing interior products into Italy. Now run by the second generation with Stefano Seletti at its creative helm, Seletti has broadened its product range from tableware to decorative items, lighting, furniture and more. Its vast collection reflects the creative energy of Stefano's team and his distinctive design philosophy: playful designs inspired by everyday objects but always with an unexpected, witty twist. Hard surfaces: wipe gently with a dry soft cloth, liquid spillage must be wiped off without delay, a premium wooden wax or polisher may be used occasionally
Soft surfaces: dry-clean if stained; dry-hoover regularly

This product will be sent by a courier using a kerbside, non-timed service.

We offer an enhanced delivery service which includes delivery at an agreed time slot to your room of choice, product assembly, removal of packaging and old items of furniture as well as storage for a limited period for an extra charge. Please contact us for a quotation.

Delivery - Outside United Kingdom
This product will be sent by a courier using a kerbside, non-timed service. Charges for deliveries outside the UK vary depending on size and weight and will be shown at the Shopping Cart or Checkout. You can also contact us for a custom delivery cost quotation.

Our shipping charges exclude import duties, local taxes and other applicable charges which may be levied as the goods reach your country. All our prices include UK VAT of 20%.
