The Hybrid Andria - Round Rug is the latest addition to Seletti's iconic "Hybrid" collection: Originally a marvellous set of kitchen crockery, now available in its "rugged" version. The images for the rugs are chosen amongst antique style patterns and then printed onto the fabric using inkjet machinery designed specifically for large formats. A special heat treatment ensures the resistance of the print and the vividness of the colours. All rugs are made of 100% recyclable PET.
The Hybrid Rugs are available in 3 versions: Perinzia, Tecla and Andria.
Seletti has evolved a long way from its roots as a family business founded in 1964 importing interior products into Italy. Now run by the second generation with Stefano Seletti at its creative helm, Seletti has broadened its product range from tableware to decorative items, lighting, furniture and more. Its vast collection reflects the creative energy of Stefano's team and his distinctive design philosophy: playful designs inspired by everyday objects but always with an unexpected, witty twist. Surprising and delightful in equal measures and always at democratic prices.
The Clock - Life in Progress is designed by Bertrand Jayr for Lyon Beton. Just like the too well known digital loading icon, the Life in Progress Concrete Clock makes visible the inexorable passage of the time.
The concrete Clock Life in Progress has a maximum thickness of 8 cm and it can be either hanged or rested on any surface, according to the orientation of your choice. This concrete clock has an integrated mounting system simple and invisible for a very sleek and graphic rendering.
Lyon Beton specialises in designing and manufacturing concrete furniture and accessories. Fascinated by the technical and plastic possibilities of this material, Lyon Beton worked for 5 years to develop a unique type of concrete, reinforced with metal wire and fibre, specifically for the production of furniture. The end product is not only relatively light, but is also extremely hard wearing and easy to maintain; ideal for use indoors and outdoors, for both private and public spaces.
The Lampscapes Suspension Light, designed by Frederik Roije, is a simple yet evocative ceiling light in the form of 5 classic conical lampshades merged together, resulting in a "lampscape" that resembles fluffy clouds in the sky. The Escape Suspension Light Large shows the domino effect in lighting, a chain of self supporting squares falling into a ring of light. This new proposal by Irish designer Ray Power creates a domino circle caught in a constant state of gravity defiant falling.
