The Gardenias Outdoor Armchair, designed by Jaime Hayon for BD Barcelona Design, is an elegant and romantic armchair ideal for any outdoor or indoor space. The design of the armchair, especially its curvaceous form and playful feet, is inspired by romantic gardens in the 19th century. The Gardenias Outdoor Armchair is made of extruded and cast aluminium, which makes it light and robust, whilst the addition of cushions (included in the price) adds to the comfort. The Gardenias Outdoor Armchair works well both for private use and in commercial spaces, for example in hotel, bars, restaurants and offices patios, terraces or gardens.

Designer
Jaime Hayon is a Spanish artist-designer who started his own studio in 2000 after a stint directing the design department at Fabrica, the Benetton-funded design and communication academy. His distinctive vision has propelled him to the leading edge of art and design, having collaborated with leading brands including BD Barcelona Design, Camper, Lladró, Baccarat, Bisazza, Swarovsky, Ceccotti and Moooi.
