Kim - LZF

In Kim we find a natural wood veneer shell encircled by interlacing form-pressed laminate strips. Designed by Mariví Calvo for LZF, the Kim pendant is at once modest and unconstrained, its clean spherical shape leaving space for the user’s own self-expression. The Kim lamp’s latticework facade accentuates the wood’s texture and grain when lit. In a way, its design is reminiscent of the traditional partitions found in a ryokan, except Kim uses veneer in place of paper. Available in two sizes, Kim is an elegant and natural beauty; a classic pendant with an uninhibited, easy air.
