The Triple Waves Rug is a luxurious carpet designed by Lorenza Bozzoli and produced by Ghidini 1961. Inspired by the experimentation of the "Arte Povera" art movement of the seventies which used unusual materials such as corrugated cardboard or other poor, discarded, recycled and upscaled materials to make art, this collection of rugs is available in various shapes, sizes and shades of beige, grey or light blue. Each rug's size can be also customised according to client's request. The Triple Waves rug is ideal for both private and contract use.
Variants
The Triple Waves Rug is available in many sizes and shapes: three rectangular rugs and two round ones. Each carpet is available in three colours variations: beige, grey or light blue. Please see the Ghidini Materials and Finishes Catalogue under the Features tab and contact us for more information.

Designer
Lorenza Bozzoli initially started as a freelance fashion designer, collaborating with Fiorucci, Basile, Plein Sud, Sergio Rossi and Camper, her interest then moved toward the world of product design, and she started articulating her work through a vast series of collaborations with big brands such as Alessi, Moooi, Dedon, Dilmos, Edition, Mingardo, Pomellato, Slamp, Slide, Tato Italia and Colè.

Usage
Suitable for indoor use only
Materials & Finishes
- Material: New Zealand wool and Tencel
- Technique: hand tufted; the fleece is then finished by hand in different thicknesses with the use of scissors; the fleece is then held as a “velvet” or a “loop” (small bouclè); at the end of the weaving process, natural latex is poured on the back of the carpet, which gives greater compactness to the structure of the carpet; finally, a cotton cloth is applied on the back as a finishing touch

Care and Maintenance
Do not use dissolvents for cleaning; only use a soft and dry cloth, mildly moistened when applicable and if necessary
