The Abbracci Sofa is an elegantly curvaceous sofa designed by Lorenza Bozzoli and produced by Ghidini 1961. Abbracci (hug in Italian) is inspired by the way hugs convey love and friendship. The sofa features distinctive wraparound arms and a voluptuous seat, upholstered in luxurious fabric or leather, with a brass metal tube at the base underlining the welcoming shape. The Abbracci sofa works well in both classic and contemporary design schemes and is ideal for both private and contract use, from living rooms to hotel lobbies.

Designer
Lorenza Bozzoli initially started as a freelance fashion designer, collaborating with Fiorucci, Basile, Plein Sud, Sergio Rossi and Camper, her interest then moved toward the world of product design, and she started articulating her work through a vast series of collaborations with big brands such as Alessi, Moooi, Dedon, Dilmos, Edition, Mingardo, Pomellato, Slamp, Slide, Tato Italia and Colè.

Materials & Finishes
- Structure: Base structure in brass plated aluminium bent tube. Internal structure with metal supporting frame.
- Cushions: Back cushions in high grammage wadding with internal rubber insert. Seat cushions in polyurethane rubber in different densities. Covers are not removable.
- Base: The sofa, armchair and ottoman are made of Italian aluminium, bent in-house at Ghidini 1961. Polished manually, and lacquered with a transparent finish to guarantee a long lasting durability.
- Seat, backrest and armrests: fully upholstered

Care and Maintenance
Do not use dissolvents for cleaning; only use a soft and dry cloth, mildly moistened when applicable and if necessary; very specific brass and copper polishers are also recommended
