Town House in Powis Mews, London: £12,000,000

Designer Mews

The house we are featuring in this edition of Property Watch is undoubtedly beautiful and unique, though to be honest the main reason for featuring it is because it belongs to Ross Lovegrove and this provides us with a rare opportunity to snoop around the renowned industrial designer's home and studio.

What the agent says:
"Highly unique and incredibly rare.  The home and work space of global design pioneer, Ross Lovegrove.  This sensational home offers four floors of phenomenal architect-designed space within this quiet and authentic cobbled mews."

What we love:
The space reflects the distinctive style of Ross Lovegrove, with its mixture of organic shapes, sleek finishes and technology.  The fishbone-like spiral staircase with its free-standing, helical bannister is a stunning design feature which will not fail to impress.

What can be improved:
The live-work space will need some modifications to be used as a private residence.  It would be a fun challenge to evolve the space for the needs of the new owners whilst preserving Ross Lovegrove's design essence.

Prices and details correct as at 20 November 2015.
