House in the Hills by Only Victories
A Garage with a View
For many people (usually men, admittedly), a car is his most treasured possession. If so, why not share the finer things in life with your trusty steed? A house with uninterrupted views of the ocean, for example.
The House in the Hills by Canadian design agency Only Victories is a ludicrously cool concept which is sure to set every playboy-racer's pulse racing. The house is a simple structure of two stacked glass-fronted boxes set in the hillside with endless views of the sea. A clever double-decker lift lowers two of your favourite cars (whoever can afford this place clearly owns more than two cars) into both floors of the apartment, where they are separated from the rest of the living space with glass walls. Inside, the space is decorated sparsely but elegantly, with the curved wooden panelling on the walls and ceiling drawing your eyes towards the stunning seaview, and the cars. And of course the cars get to enjoy the seaview too.
