Nendo, led by Oki Sato, is one of the most innovative and prolific design studios working today. Of their many 2015 works one of our favourites is the Seven Doors project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Abe Kogyo, a Japanese manufacturer of doors and partitions. These concepts (and some of them are very conceptual) are inspired by the different techniques of the company, and they will certainly inspire more open thinking on what doors can do. Our favourite is the one which combines a larger door with a smaller door in one. Perfect for pets to get in and out (at least for those who know how to use a door knob).
