Valentine's Day is getting near so let's go all fluffy and indulge... Our retreat of choice is Dormy House, an award-winning contemporary country hotel and spa perched at the top of the Cotswolds in Broadway, Worcestershire.
Designed by Sparc Studio with lighting from TSL Electrical, the style of the hotel strikes a great balance between contemporary design and the timeless elegance which befits an intimate country house. We particularly like the recently renovated house spa, where the clean, slick lines of the fixtures and furnishings are complemented by bursts of pastel colours and the subtle use of natural wood lighting, creating an atmosphere that is cocooning and dynamic at the same time.
The hotel and spa is located in the heart of the Costwolds with attractions such as Stratford-Upon-Avon an easy drive away, but when you are cocooned in such comfort and style it's hard to imagine why you would want to venture out at all.
