Topographic Furniture by Ben & Manu
What a Relief
Benoît Vauthier and Manu Lerendu, master wood craftsmen from the Vosges region in France, have taken indoor-outdoor living to the next level by creating a series of furniture inspired by the mountain ranges outside their workshop. Their tables, accessories and artworks are made of solid pieces of timber with miniature mountain reliefs carved into them. These evocative designs are finished in a sleek, almost minimalist style, which makes them easy to fit into any decor despite their eye-catching design. We can't think of a better way to bring the mountains home.
A great way to bring the outdoors in is to use botanical wallpaper, such as the Jardin del Sol pattern from Mind The Gap. A beautifully sculptural vase such as the Craterlet vase from Atelier Polyhedre or the Bourgeon vase from 101 Copenhagen would work well too.
