Pastoral Carpets by Alexandra Kehayoglou
Nature at Your Feet
Many dream of country living, but those who are stuck in the city should perhaps consider bringing nature into their homes instead. A great place to start is to introduce one of the lush carpets designed by Argentinian artist Alexandra Kehayoglou, who hand-crafts each hyper-realistic nature-inspired rug by recycling scrap wool from her parents' carpet factory in Buenos Aires. Just make sure the dog doesn't confuse the rug for the real thing.
Shop the Style
A natural wood veneer light is a great way to bring a touch a nature indoors and to tame the harsh white light of modern light bulbs. The flower inspired Agatha and wave inspired Link suspension lights from LZF are perennial favourites.

Detractors of minimalism often decry the cold, impersonal nature of the style. However, when executed intelligently, minimalist designs can be surprisingly expressive. The furniture collections of designer Niko Koronis is a case in point.
Founded by furniture designers Josefine Krabbe Munck, Kamma Rosa Schytte, Kasper Kyster and Lærke Ryom, Ukurant showcases experimental products from emerging designers which straddle the border between art and commerce.
