The Do team is based in London, where getting around on public transport can be challenging (the colour scheme inside some tube carriages are so garish). Whilst researching alternative transport modes we were excited to come across what could be the coolest private jet in the world.
The Cobalt Co50 Valkyrie is the fastest single-piston aircraft in its class, with top speed of 260 knots and a range of just over 1,000 nautical miles, enough to fly from London to Naples non-stop. The plane carries up to 5 people in considerable safety and comfort. There is a forewing to prevent the plane from stalling mid-air, on board parachutes a luxurious cabin with seats in premium leather. The design of the plane is super sleek and masculine, unsurprising as it was inspired by fighter jets. We particularly like what is apparently the largest single piece canopy in the world, providing an unrivalled 320 degree views.
This is without doubt the slickest way to get around town, but since the USD 699,000 price tag is somewhat over the limit of our combined Oyster cards, sadly we have to pass on this one.
