Kibako Fridge System by David Roman Lieshout

Interior Redesign

The Kibako Fridge System is an inspired attempt to rethink the design of a much neglected space - the inside of the fridge.  David Roman Lieshout, who just graduated cum laude from the bachelor course at the Design Academy Eindhoven, was inspired by traditional crates for fruits and vegetables found in markets (Kibako is Japanese for wooden box) to create a set of bamboo trays and boxes which fit elegantly inside a fridge fitted with wood and glass modular shelves.  We love the slick look of the trays and boxes, which are flexible enough to satisfy all your fridge storage requirements and elegant enough to grace the kitchen worktop or dining table.

Part of the Design Academy Eindhoven 2015 Graduation show.
