Parisian Apartment by Crosby Studios
Parisian Chic
Paris - the city of lights and the birth place of romance and luxury. It takes real creativity to translate these inspirations into an interior design scheme that is fresh and modern. Step forwards Harry Nuriev of Crosby Studios, the multi-talented Russian designer best known for his avant garde furniture collaborations with Balenciaga, who turned up the chic in this charming Parisian apartment with his trademark design touches.
This apartment is blessed with tall ceilings, period details and plenty of light; the sense of space amplified by the chevron parquet floor and white walls throughout. The living room is dominated by a boxy pink sofa and a coffee table based on columns and arches, a recurring design motif throughout the apartment. The kitchen / dining room is full of drama. The graphic shape of the suspension lights and extractor hood fill the space with visual interest, whilst the minimalist kitchen is balanced by curvaceous furniture in sumptuous fabrics and plenty of gold accents. The bathrooms are just as striking: one makes a graphic statement with dusty pink walls and black borders, whilst the other is a lesson in understated luxe with acres of marble and wood.
This gorgeous apartment is full of bold shapes, vibrant colours and a touch of drama - a sleek, upgraded version of art deco perfect for contemporary living.
