Amsterdam Apartment by Studio Frederik Roijé
High Style in the Low Country
We are big fans of Frederik Roijé and are delighted to see his style realised so well in this Amsterdam apartment designed by him.
There is a pervasive sense of order and serenity in the apartment with all design features reduced to their bare essence. Slick features such as built-in oak cabinets maximise the sense of space whilst the black framed glass walls and doors maximise light throughout the 80 square metre space. Products designed by Frederik Roijé provide the visual highlights. We especially like the Lampscapes pendant light hovering above the dining table, the sculptural Seatshell steel and wood dining chairs and the Tablefields occasional table. Simple, stylish and timelessly elegant, this apartment is the perfect tonic to soothe the strains of modern city life.
