Yayoi Kusama Exhibition at the Louisiana Museum in Copenhagen

Dotty Art

Copenhagen has long been the destination of choice for design lovers and the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, situated just outside the city, is a gem not to be missed.  Now there is an extra reason to pay a visit: the museum is hosting a fascinating retrospective of Yayoi Kusama, the first in Scandinavia.  Kusama (86) is an enigmatic Japanese conceptual artist best known for her obsessive application of polka dots on to paintings, sculptures and installations which draw the viewer into her dreamy, fantastical world.  Whether it's a feeling of psychedelic joy, future blobbism or just sheer quirky delight, we're sure the exhibition will ignite and inspire your style.

Yayoi Kusama - In Infinity: at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art (just outside Copenhagen) from 17 September 2015 to 24 January 2016.
