Pastoral Carpets by Alexandra Kehayoglou
Nature at Your Feet
Many dream of country living, but those who are stuck in the city should perhaps consider bringing nature into their homes instead. A great place to start is to introduce one of the lush carpets designed by Argentinian artist Alexandra Kehayoglou, who hand-crafts each hyper-realistic nature-inspired rug by recycling scrap wool from her parents' carpet factory in Buenos Aires. Just make sure the dog doesn't confuse the rug for the real thing.

Product Inspiration
For those who want a rug that is nature-inspired but with a contemporary geometric edge, the Lake rug designed by Raw Edges for Golran, with its stunning optical illusion effect, is a superb choice.
A natural wood veneer light is a great way to bring a touch a nature indoors and to tame the harsh white light of modern light bulbs. The flower inspired Agatha and wave inspired Link suspension lights from LZF are perennial favourites.
The Laia range of chairs and benches from Alki are made with solid oak and natural felt, a great combination to achieve a contemporary natural look.
For accessories with a natural touch touch the whimsical porcelain creations from Sena Gu are hard to beat. We particularly like the Tree Vase and Cauliflower Container.
