New Collections from Made by Choice
Choice Selection
Scandinavian design is justly famous for its focus on functionality, natural organic forms and timeless elegance. Into this mix we can now add playful shapes and riotous colours, thanks to the new collections launched by Finnish design brand Made by Choice at the Stockholm Furniture Fair earlier this year.
Highlights from the almost 20 new products include the Plize and Beebee storage containers by Hanna Anonen, with their distinctive geometric shapes and cheerful colours which are sure to brighten up even the gloomiest Nordic winter night, as well as the Goma collection of chairs by Thomas Sandell. The latter are minimalist yet playful, thanks to their child-like arch-shaped back supports and the use of chunky tubular bent plywood. We also like the Punc chair by Shane Schneck, with its striking cantilevered seat and outsized feet, and also the sculptural simplicity of the Reading Dog magazine rack designed by Katrin Olina.
These latest additions to the growing collection of Made by Choice are sure to cement their position as the choicest Scandinavian design brand to watch out for.
