Micro Apartment by Folk Design

Size is Not Everything

Small can be beautiful, as this exquisite micro apartment in Taiwan by Folk Design demonstrates.  The interior designers managed to create a multi-functional living space for a mother and daughter in a ground floor apartment of just over 30 square metres.  They did so with creative design features such as a table which lifts up from the floor, clever positioning of windows which protects privacy whilst flooding the space with natural light and the use of a restrained palette of colours and materials, especially white and plywood.  The addition of green plants and simple yet sculptural table lights add further design interest.  Never before has so much serenity and style been packed into such a small but perfectly formed package.
