Popcorn Monsoon by Jolene Carlier
Jolene Calier, who has just graduated from the Bachelor course at the Design Academy Eindhoven, has a background in graphic design, which is why her projects always start with illustrations in her trademark bright, bold and jovial style. The Popcorn Monsoon popcorn maker is an attempt to translate one such illustrations into a real product. The result is a beautifully sculptural and functional object which reflects the fun and excitement that popcorn-making brings. Willy Wonker would surely approve.
