Hand Crafted Ceramics by Studio Arhoj

Glaze of Glory

As regular Do visitors would know, we find hand-crafted ceramics irresistible, especially when they are as charming as the ones from Copenhagen-based Studio Arhoj.  We particularly like the hand-cast porcelain cups and mugs with colourful glazes which are allowed to run as they fire, creating random drip patterns reminiscent of melting ice creams.  This very much reminds us of Do Master Koji Shiraya, which is apt as Arhoj's style is a fusion of Scandinavian and Japanese aesthetics.
