Keemala Resort in Phuket

Tribal Life, Luxury Style

Winter is almost here...  As the days get shorter and the tan begins to fade, the best cure for the winter blues is to book a holiday at a luxury spa retreat.  In our minds, there is no better destination to rejuvenate our spirits and to top up our design inspirations than the Keemala resort in Phuket.

Nestled in the lush woodlands overlooking Kamala village and the Andaman sea, the design of the villa-only resort is based on four fictional clans, each with different architectural styles based on their different lifestyles and philosophies.  The tent shaped villas, for example, are inspired by the adventurous "Khon-Jorn" (wanderer) clan.  Our favourite is the tree pool houses of the "We-ha" (sky) clan, who "built their homes elevated from the ground in order to obtain better creativity and liberty".  Featuring two floors, a private pool and suspended furniture inside, these are fantasy tree houses any adult would happily indulge in.
