The tops of the Shika desk are made of MDF, the upper top lacquered in dark green, beige or grey and the lower top lacquered in white. The metal frame is available in chrome or black lacquered finish. The Shika desk is part of a collection which includes three low coffee tables, two high side tables and two desks. 

A+A Cooren is the Paris-based interiors and product design studio of French-Japanese husband and wife team Aki and Arnaud Cooren. Their work has a Japanese-Nordic design feel and often include subtle references to nature, all part of their aim to "delight everyday life".
