The BNF Chair is a modern and highly distinctive chair designed by Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost and Dominique Perrault for Coedition. Designed originally for the newly refurbished Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF) in Paris, the chair features a wooden seat suspended in a metal frame, creating an exciting visual contrast. Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost is the artistic director for the Dominique Perrault Architecture studio. Dominique and Gaëlle have also collaborated to the creation of many products for over 20 years. Lately, the prolific duo have designed the BNF chair for CoEdition, commissioned by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.

Graypants is a design studio founded by Seattle-based architects Seth Grizzle and Jonathan Junker in 2007.
