BNF Chair

The BNF Chair is a modern and highly distinctive chair designed by Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost and Dominique Perrault for Coedition.  Designed originally for the newly refurbished Bibliothèque Nationale de France (BNF) in Paris, the chair features a wooden seat suspended in a metal frame, creating an exciting visual contrast.  The BNF chair works well in living rooms, bedrooms, around dining tables, desks or in reception areas.

Gaëlle Lauriot-Prévost is the artistic director for the Dominique Perrault Architecture studio.  Dominique and Gaëlle have also collaborated to the creation of many products for over 20 years.  Lately, the prolific duo have designed the BNF chair for CoEdition, commissioned by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
