Alfa & Centauro are a set of two elegant and expressive sculptures named after the closest star system to Earth. They are in fact a binary star, ie two stars orbiting around a common orbit. The circle of the sculpture symbolises this centre, whilst the shards of shiny aluminium represent the flashes of light.
