The Keel Wall Shelf is a stylish and sculptural shelf designed by Victor Van Carraso for Viccarbe. Inspired by the shape of a boat’s keel, the shelf is made in solid oak and emerges smoothly from the wall, like an exercise in reflection on functionality and art. The Keel Wall Shelf can be used not just for placing books, objects or photographs, but also for providing support for any type of shelf. The shelf works especially well in a composition using multiple shelves of different shapes and sizes.

Variants
Two versions of the Keel Wall Shelf are offered here for immediate shipping: medium or large in matte oak. Please make your selection in the Size option above. In addition, the Keel Wall Shelf also comes in a small size and in a large range of finishes other than matte oak. The Keel Wall Shelf is part of the Viccarte collection of artistic pieces intended as a crossover between a sculpture and a functional item. It is not designed for heavy use and should be handled with care.

Born in Valencia (Spain) in 1974, Victor Carrasco began his professional career after graduating Cum Laude in Industrial Design Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Shying away from trends and fads, he has developed and positioned international brands with remarkable added value, thanks to his passion for synthesis, sustainable growth and his pragmatic vision of the future.
