Pierre Wooden Coat Hanger

by Moustache

Designed by Bertjan Pot for Moustache, the Pierre Wooden Coat Hanger is inspired by African tribal masks, with the wooden pegs cleverly positioned to resemble abstract facial features. Witty and exotic, the Pierre Wooden Coat Hanger is as much an artistic expression as it is a functional object.

Bertjan Pot was born in 1975 in Nieuwleusen, the Netherlands. Now, he lives in Rotterdam. He created several kind of products : the famous Random Light made of fiber glass and resin, chairs, tables etc. His creations have joined the collections of various museums including the Victoria & Albert Museum of London, the Museum Van Beuningen Boijmans in Rotterdam and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam.

Moustache is a French design brand that brings together like-minded designers such as Francois Azambourg, Big Game and Matali Crasset to create furniture, lighting and interior accessories that are quirky and delightful in equal measures.
