Tip Top Tea Light Holder

The Tip Top series of accessories, designed by Richard Hutten for Ghidini 1961, all share the same curious visual effect.  When viewed from above, the triangles which form the structure of the tea light all look the same size.  It is only when you look at it sideways then you see the triangles stretched to create the delicate lattice walls of the hexagonal structure.  The Tip Top Tea Light Holder is a charming decorative accessory in itself but it really comes to life when a lit tea light is placed inside, casting beautiful shadows with the flickering flame.

The Tip Top Tea Light Holder is part of a collection of products designed by Richard Hutten for Ghidini 1961.
