The Nestor Armchair, designed by Tom Stepp for Mater, is a beautifully crafted chair which combines the best of traditional and contemporary design. The elegant shape of the chair and its woven seat reflect classic Danish design with a hint of Shaker influence, whilst the sleek ergonomic seat back and wide armrests add a fresh contemporary touch. The Nestor Armchair is not only beautifully designed but is also very comfortable and versatile, perfect as a dining chair or occasional chair in both residential and commercial spaces.
The structure of the Nestor Armchair is made with FSC certified solid beech stained in black or Sirka grey. For this Sirka grey version, the seat is available in either woven natural hemp belt or woven natural paper cord. In both cases the seats are hand-woven in Denmark.
